This striking custom arrow tattoo was done by Nina Rademeyer, the head artist at Zen Ink Professional Tattoo and Piercing Studio, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Arrows are very old and familiar objects, probably recognizable by anyone who can talk. They’ve been around since before recorded history, after all, and were invented a  long time before the wheel.
Arrow tattoos were originally based on Native American tribal life, hundreds of years ago. The arrow represented an essential tool in hunter-gatherer communities, serving as a weapon in hunting and in war. Though a simple design, this symbol is extremely popular because of the powerful, positive meanings associated with it.
In Native Indian culture, an arrow pointing at the ground represents peace. It draws the eyes down to the ground, indicating that there’s something important below. This might signify being grounded or point to something buried. A tattoo of an arrow pointing down one’s arm toward the hand might indicate a flow of energy out into the world, like an arrow being shot by the arm.
A classic and simple design, the arrow represents many fundamental human values and truths. Whether it stands for harmony, conflict, or personal progress, the arrow is a time-honored symbol that almost everyone can relate to.
This client wanted bright colors that would make it look as close to his original idea as possible, and that was certainly captured in this amazing tattoo!
Nina Rademeyer completed this custom arrow arm tattoo in a single session using the following: A Professional Rotary Tattoo Pen, Elite Cartridges, Dynamic Tattoo Ink, Fusion Tattoo Ink, Eternal Tattoo Ink, Green Soap, Stencil Stuff and Hustle Butter.

I would not mind getting one of these as long as it can be naturally removed. In a corporate job this is a big no but in times of vacation I can indulge a bit.
